The Mazzè Dam, a historic hydraulic structure completed in 1922, was innovative for its time. It utilizes the Dora Baltea river’s waters to irrigate approximately 4,000 hectares of agricultural land, with a regulation system that lifts water up to 62 meters.
Intervention
Field S.r.l. installed an advanced monitoring system during the reconstruction of the dam’s left weir, incorporating structural monitoring sensors and data acquisition systems. Additionally, Field provided centralized data management services through its proprietary AIDA IoT platform.
Results
Since September 2023, Field has ensured continuous dam monitoring, allowing the client to efficiently manage data related to structural integrity, groundwater levels, and reservoir conditions.
